O presidente do Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE), ministro Edson Fachin, voltou a defender o sistema eleitoral brasileiro e reafirmou que a urna eletr\u00f4nica \u00e9 segura.<\/p>\n
Nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (17\/5), na abertura do evento ???Democracia e Elei\u00e7\u00f5es na Am\u00e9rica Latina e os Desafios das Autoridades Eleitorais???, Fachin frisou que o ???o Brasil n\u00e3o mais aquiesce a aventuras autorit\u00e1rias???.<\/p>\n
???Nesse ano, o Brasil olha para o mundo e, o mundo, especialmente o mundo democr\u00e1tico, olha para o Brasil???, pontuou.<\/p>\n
O ministro citou recentes agress\u00f5es ao processo eleitoral, como as que ocorreram no M\u00e9xico e no Peru, como exemplo negativos que devem ser recha\u00e7ados.<\/p>\n
???A urna eletr\u00f4nica permitiu a supera\u00e7\u00e3o dessas inquietudes. ?? a urna eletr\u00f4nica que traz paz e seguran\u00e7a ao nosso processo???, salientou.<\/p>\n
Fachin garantiu que uma rede internacional de monitoramento ir\u00e1 acompanhar as elei\u00e7\u00f5es brasileiras. O ministro citou org\u00e2nicos como a Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o dos Estados Americanos (OEA), o parlamento do Mercosul, a Rede Mundial de Justi\u00e7a Eleitoral, entre outras.<\/p>\n

O TSE tem rebatido reiteradas vezes ataques, inclusive do presidente Jair Bolsonaro (PL), de que o processo eleitoral n\u00e3o \u00e9 seguro. O chefe do Pal\u00e1cio do Planalto j\u00e1 defendeu o voto impresso, por exemplo.<\/p>\n
