No ano passado, Daciolo informou que iria concorrer \u00e0 Presid\u00eancia da Rep\u00fablica, mas desistiu e anunciou apoio a Ciro Gomes (PDT). Em 2018, ele teve 1,3 milh\u00e3o de votos e ficou em sexto lugar na disputa pelo Pal\u00e1cio do Planalto, na frente de nomes como Henrique Meirelles (MDB) e Marina Silva (Rede).
