Em avalia\u00e7\u00e3o preliminar, a ag\u00eancia estimou que o n\u00famero de mortos poderia ficar entre <strong>10 mil e 100 mil<\/strong>, dependendo da densidade populacional e da vulnerabilidade das constru\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As opera\u00e7\u00f5es de resgate ocorreram com vigor nos dias iniciais, mas os avistamentos de sobreviventes diminu\u00edram com o tempo. O \u00faltimo avan\u00e7o significativo ocorreu em <strong>2 de julho<\/strong>, quando Hern\u00e1n Alberto Gil Flores foi resgatado com vida dos escombros em La Guaira, ap\u00f3s oito dias soterrado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mais de duas semanas ap\u00f3s o desastre, o governo, sob a presid\u00eancia interina de Delcy Rodr\u00edguez, n\u00e3o divulgou um balan\u00e7o oficial de desaparecidos.
